This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Cura uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy.

1. Cookies we always use

Some cookies are necessary for Cura to work at all, so they are set without asking. They keep you signed in, keep your session tied to your organisation's own space, and protect forms against misuse. These cookies hold no advertising data and cannot be switched off while you are using the service.

2. Analytics cookies

With your permission we use analytics cookies to understand how Cura is used, so we can improve it. These are only set after you choose "Accept analytics cookies", and nothing is loaded before you decide. The providers are Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are used and how people move through the service, and Contentsquare, which shows us anonymised interaction patterns such as where people scroll or hesitate.

3. What analytics never tells us about you

We do not send any identifier for you to our analytics providers. They receive no name, no email address, no team, and nothing at all from your wellbeing profile: not your scores, not your persona, not your check-in answers, not what you searched for, and not which programmes you chose. Anything you type into a field is never collected, and the pages where you enter personal information, including your account details, your organisation's records and the wellbeing check-in, are excluded from session recording altogether.

4. Data transfers

Cura itself is hosted in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Google Analytics processes data in the United States under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, together with the safeguards Google provides for international transfers.

5. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. If you withdraw permission, the analytics tools stop loading and we remove the analytics cookies we are able to reach from your browser.

6. How long your choice lasts

We remember your answer for twelve months. If you are signed in, we store it against your account instead, so you are not asked again when you use a different device. We will ask you again if this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used.
